Overview
The Criminal Justice Program is designed to prepare a person for entry-level positions in the criminal justice field.
Intended Learning Outcomes
Learning experiences in this program are designed to assist the student in realizing the following outcomes:
- Communicate effectively in the criminal justice culture: verbally, non-verbally, and in writing.
- Work equally well on independent assignments and team efforts within the criminal justice system.
- Locate and interpret current case law and statutes pertaining to specific criminal activity; take action that is supported by current law and statutes.
- Work effectively with persons of different cultural heritage, gender, age and/or mental abilities.
