APR130 Plumbing Apprenticeship: Level I Part I

Designed for Oregon state-registered apprentices employed in the plumbing trade. This course provides an introduction to the necessary skills required for the plumbing trade. Students will learn an overview of the plumbing trade and become familiar with employer expectations. General topics include: basic concepts in safety in the workplace, trade vocabulary, trade math-basic offsets, common tools and materials, plumbing drawings, troubleshooting skills, and introductory overview of the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) with Oregon Amendments; administration, definitions and general regulations. Prerequisite: Instructor approval/registered apprentice.
