BI231 Human Anatomy and Physiology I

Students begin this 3 term sequence by studying the form and function of the dynamic human body which is required for health service occupations and further study in the biological sciences. Students master knowledge and concepts in the organization of the human body, homeostasis, cells and tissues, the skeletal and muscular systems, intro to the nervous system and the special senses. Instruction occurs in the classroom and online through supplemental material. Prerequisite: GS 112 or BI 211.
