ED258 Multicultural Education
This course will support aspiring educators to gain a deeper understanding of identity, culture,
power and social justice as it is related to teachers’ self-awareness and teaching in the classroom. Future educators will
study and explore how culture and power impact their role as educators and how it informs pedagogical approaches to
teaching, learning and creating curriculum. Students will achieve an understanding of multicultural education and its impact
on teaching in the classroom.
