MAS193 Intro to Engine Room Maintenance and Safety

Students demonstrate knowledge of basic marine engineering terminology, engine room layout and machinery identification, pre-departure and post arrival checks, preventive maintenance, identification of problems, and safe working practices in the engine room. This class is held aboard the training vessel FORERUNNER. Prerequisite: MAS 100 Maritime Occupations
