MAS191 Deckhand Practicum
Students demonstrate knowledge and skill by actively performing the duties of a deckhand aboard the college’s training vessel. Duties may include anything that may be required of a deckhand aboard any commercial vessel. This course requires consultation with the instructor to determine outcome objectives. This class is held aboard the training vessel FORERUNNER.Prerequisite: MAS 155 Introduction to Watchkeeping or instructor approval.
